All arpgs can be different based on how that grind is working. Sure grind is what you do in every arpg so you can't really say that every arpg is the same because it has grind.

I never mentioned rifts as I didn't play d3 a lot after campaign so I can't comment on that, OP only mentioned PoE (I am guessing by 'maps' you meant PoE too, maybe i'm wrong) and if we go into details there, it has unimaginable amount of endgame content compared to d2.
